What this site collects

You can read the whole guide without giving a name, email address, or password. There are no user accounts.

The home page shows a small public visit badge. That service counts times the badge is loaded. It does not identify you.

The query-letter builder and the directory filters run in your browser. What you type there is not sent to us unless you choose to copy it and send it yourself.

Cookies and advertising

This site is prepared for Google AdSense. If advertisements appear, Google may set cookies and collect data according to Google’s privacy policy. You can control ad cookies in your browser or through Google’s ad settings.

Affiliate links

The further reading page links to Amazon.co.uk and, where the book is sold there, Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, this site earns from qualifying purchases. Amazon may set its own cookies when you follow those links. We do not receive your Amazon account details.
